Thursday, March 14th, time TBD
3200 Burgundy Street, Bywater, New Orleans, LA
Brooklyn Brewery's House Chef Andrew Gerson has a point of view on food. He's spent 10 years in kitchens on both sides of the pond, advocating for food trucks, running his own pasta company and getting his Masters in Food Communication from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenza, Italy. But he likes nothing more than to test that POV against those of strangers doing remarkable things in kitchens nowhere near The Brewery. Hence Local, 2 Ways, a multi-course beer dinner that brings together two different culinary minds for one memorable meal.
And this one's going to be hard to forget. Chef Michael Doyle has been turning heads at Maurepas Foods since opening. His focus is "robust cuisine" which seems to mean good, local ingredients put to use on a merry-go-round of flavors from all over the globe. Call ahead to get your tickets.
